Hanna Mina

Hanna Mina (March 9, 1924 – August 21, 2018) was a Syrian novelist born in Latakia. His mother was Mariana Mikhail Zakour. He contributed to the founding of the Syrian Writers Association and the Arab Writers Union. Hanna Mina is considered one of the most prominent Arab novelists. His novels are distinguished by their realism. He authored approximately 40 social novels, most notably “The Blue Lamps,” which was adapted into a TV series of the same name, and “The End of a Brave Man,” which was also adapted into a Syrian TV series.
