Laith Tariq Al-Tall is a Jordanian writer and novelist, born in Irbid in 1968. He is considered one of the leading contemporary voices in Arabic fiction, as his works tend to blend intellectual and philosophical discourse with narrative storytelling, while also featuring a clear presence of religious, historical, and humanistic themes.

He has published several novels, most notably: *The Last Stoning*, *The Moon of Harran: The Sheikh and the Sultan*, and *Chants of Immortality and Annihilation*.
