Minka Kent began writing stories at a very young age. Her passion for dark and twisted literature led her to read the “Goosebumps” and “Fear Street” series, and she moved on to Stephen King as a teenager. Gillian Flynn, Chevy Stevens, and Caroline Kipnis are now among her favorite authors and biggest influences. Minka has always been fascinated by good people who do bad things and enjoys exploring what happens when extraordinary characters are placed in interesting situations.

In her non-writing life, Minka is a wife and mother in her thirties who equally enjoys sunny and rainy days, loves freshly cut hydrangeas, hides behind oversized sunglasses, and travels to warmer climates whenever she can.
