Nawzad Al-Sati

Nawzad Al-Sati is a Jordanian writer best known for documenting the life story of her husband, Prince Sharif Zaid bin Shaker—a Jordanian military commander, politician, and former Prime Minister—by compiling the recollections and information he left behind prior to his passing in 2002. She played a significant role in presenting a historical account of pivotal moments in the history of Jordan and the Arab world, spanning events from the 1967 War, the Battle of Karameh, and Black September, through to the invasion of Kuwait and the Second Gulf War. In 2019, she published a book documenting these memoirs, shedding light on the military, political, and humanitarian aspects of the Prince’s life, as well as his relationship with King Hussein bin Talal.
