Peter Swanson is an American author. He has written six novels, including *A Class Worthy of Killing*, which won the New England Writers Association Book Award and was a finalist for the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award from the Crime Writers Association; *Everything That Scares Her*, which won NPR’s Book of the Year Award; and *Before You Knew Him*. His books have been translated into 30 languages, and his stories, poems, and essays have appeared in *Azimov’s Science Fiction*, *The Atlantic*, *Major*, *The Guardian*, *The Strand*, and *Yankee*. Swanson lives outside of Boston.
