Rebecca Kuang is a young American author born in 1996. She began her writing career with the publication of her debut novel, *The Poppy War*, in 2018. She then wrote two sequels: *The Republic of the Dragon* in 2019 and *The Burning God* in 2020. In 2022, she published a new novel, *Babel*, and in 2023, she released a satirical novel titled *Yellowface*. Rebecca studied at Georgetown University, earning a degree in International Economics, and also studied Chinese culture at Cambridge and Oxford Universities. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Yale University.
