Riyad Muhammad Abdul Majid Halaika is a Palestinian novelist and short story writer. He was born in the town of Al-Shuyukh in the Hebron Governorate in 1956 and lived in Jordan for many years. He worked in various fields before dedicating himself to writing to a greater extent. He has a keen interest in the novel and its techniques and has participated in literary and cultural events within the Jordanian literary scene. Among his well-known works are the novel “A Man from the Past” and the novel “The Contract.”
