Saeed Wasfi Abdel-Majid is a Jordanian physician and orthopedic surgeon, a consultant in orthopedic and joint surgery, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow. Alongside his medical and academic career, he has served as a professor at the medical schools of Kuwait University and the Jordan University of Science and Technology. He has long held an interest in literature, reading, and writing; he began penning reflections and short stories in his youth, and several of his stories were published in Kuwaiti magazines during his time working there.

His literary experience reflects a blend… Drawing upon his extensive medical experience and his observations of life, humanity, and society, he wrote his short story collection *The Abduction of a Minor and Other Stories* in the 1990s; the writings remained unpublished for years before he finally decided to release them.
