Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri (June 4, 1943 – December 1, 2006) was Safiur Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammad Akbar ibn Muhammad Ali ibn Abdul Mumin ibn Faqirullah Mubarakpuri Azami. He was one of the scholars of Hadith in India. He was distinguished by his vast knowledge and great humility. He participated in seminars and lectures in various parts of India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries. He worked at the Islamic University of Madinah for ten years, starting in 1988. He authored many valuable books in Arabic and Urdu, the most famous of which is Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).
