Samuel Huntington

Samuel Phillips Huntington (April 18, 1927 – December 24, 2008) was an American political scientist and political theorist, a professor at Harvard University for 58 years, and a conservative thinker. He worked in several subfields of political science and business. Harvard University describes him as a mentor to a generation of scholars in widely disparate fields and one of the most influential political scientists of the second half of the twentieth century.
