Description
The short story “Alzheimer’s” by Ghazi Al-Gosaibi tells the story of Yaqoub Al-Aryan, a man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. While in a nursing home, he writes numerous letters to his wife. The story is more educational and informative than purely literary, as the author introduces the disease and its history in the second letter, after expressing his initial fears and feelings in the first.
