Description

Nature continues to haunt Hanna Mina, inhabiting him and inspiring his imagination. He borrows from its inhabitants archetypes that remain symbolic for the reader of his novel, “The Black Wolf,” as if to emphasize that the world is nothing more than a jungle governed by the laws that govern jungles. Here is Daghmash, the aging hunter and central character in the novel’s events, weary yet determined to kill the black wolf, placing his hope in hunters like himself. The dialogues unfold, the characters multiply, and the events progress, all while the theme of sin associated with Adam and Eve continues to dominate the novel’s atmosphere. However, the novel’s ultimate goal is the same as that of the black wolf, which wreaked havoc throughout the forests.
