Description
This poetic account—composed in the *urjuza* (rhymed verse) form—was written by Zayn al-Abidin Dhu al-Riyasatayn ibn Hajj Hasan Baqir al-Kuwaiti, according to the manuscript used by the work’s editor. The author was a well-known itinerant poet of his time and region, composing verse in both Arabic and Persian. This particular *urjuza* chronicles a journey from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi, passing through several Iranian islands. During his travels, in 1936, he was received by Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
