Description

Every society has its biases, but what has happened is that many of the world’s peoples have begun to abandon the biases stemming from their historical, human, and existential realities and have started to adopt Western biases. They have begun to view themselves from a Western perspective. However, recently, many Arab scholars have begun to feel that the methodologies currently used in the Arab humanities are not entirely neutral. They believe these methodologies reflect a set of latent biases hidden within the epistemological models, tools, and research methods. This book is an attempt to address this methodological and intellectual issue and offer alternative models.
