Description

“The study of Jerusalem—a subject explored across hundreds, if not thousands, of books in various languages, covering diverse topics such as history, politics, society, and landmarks—is, in itself, a valuable enrichment to the Arabic library. However, there is a notable scarcity of research concerning the period of Egyptian rule over the Levant—specifically regarding Jerusalem, how that administration engaged with the city’s issues, its citizens, its leadership, and its various districts. This study seeks to address that gap.”
