Description

This book… is not an autobiography at all. Rather, it is a collection of small details from various encounters, a mere introduction and dialogue with the late Munif. It is a desire to gather the scattered fragments of a relationship whose foundation was literature. It is a small tribute to a writer who, since “The Trees and the Assassination of Marzouq,” knew how to unsettle us, always finding an opportunity to make us question our current fate. Many are the questions he posed to us, and many are the answers we missed, failing to grasp them.

This book, therefore, is a small tribute on the tenth anniversary of his passing, even if another year, and many more, have passed. It is enough to remember Munif by returning to his work and discovering how many questions he raised and suggested, questions we overlooked.
