Description

This work addresses the issue of transitioning from the triad of tribalism, Salafist jurisprudence, and both overt and covert despotism—which oppresses individuals and squanders nations—to the Industrial Revolution and its modernity, followed by the digital revolution that will transform humanity and life on Earth.

These are two major civilizational shifts that we must actively embrace to secure our place and partnership with emerging nations. We are capable of this; otherwise, we will fall into dependency and a state of hybridity between tribalism, modernity, and digitalization. This hybridity neither guarantees authenticity nor secures a position of prominence; rather, it perpetuates dependency.

This work takes the reader on a revealing journey from tribalism to modernity and the digital revolution that will sweep away those who lag behind, like a tsunami. It presents the characteristics of each, how to engage with them, and how to harness them for the development and empowerment of our people. It concludes with a vision of what needs to be done, especially given our material resources and human potential, which require leadership that is committed to its homeland and its people.
