Description
In this work, Imam al-Suyuti chronicles the history of the Muslim caliphs. He provides biographies of the caliphs, the Commanders of the Faithful, who led the affairs of the Muslim community from the time of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may God be pleased with him) to his own time (the time of Imam al-Suyuti), which corresponds to the Abbasid Caliphate. The history is arranged chronologically, beginning with the first caliph. In the biography of each caliph, he mentions the significant events that occurred during his reign, as well as the prominent religious figures and scholars of the Muslim community who lived during his time.
