Description
Five inseparable high school friends share a common name: Akamatsu (red pine), Omi (blue sea), Shiran (white root), and Kurono (black field). Only Tsukuru Tazaki’s name has no color in it. Suddenly, these friends decide to sever all ties with him. Tsukuru wanders aimlessly, burdened by a burden he doesn’t understand, unable to form close friendships again. Years later, he encounters someone who reopens old wounds, urging him to discover the reason behind his estrangement and what transpired during those lost years.
