Louise’s signature affirmation was: “Life loves you.”

Her heartfelt thought best represented her life and work. With each book signing, and as hundreds of people lined up, Louise carefully wrote “Life loves you.” Her email signature was also “Life loves you.” She used to end her phone calls and Skype sessions with “Life loves you.” She always capitalized the word “Life” with an L, signifying the one, infinite intelligence that transcends all things.

“Life Loves You” is not just an affirmation. It refers to a philosophy of fundamental trust that encourages us to trust Life—with a capital L—that wants the best for us. The more we love Life, the more Life loves us back. The first step on the path to trust is the willingness to love. The more we love ourselves, the more we can love each other. In doing so, we embody a loving presence in the world, becoming people who passionately affirm, “I love Life, and Life loves me.”
