Description
This book is the nineteenth installment in the “Incomplete Works” series, which comprises the author’s previously unpublished writings. It is also part of a collection of conversations and interviews between her and fellow writers, previously published in the series: “The Tribe Interrogates the Murdered Woman,” “The Sea Judges a Fish,” “Wandering Inside a Wound,” “The Girl Will Come to Reproach You,” and “Interrogating a Rebel.”
Why “Fleeting Love Tales” now? Because the author believes that every journalistic interview is like love: breaking down the shell of brutality, shattering isolation, penetrating alienation, and establishing communication in a shared language, at least for the duration of the interview. Thus, the journalistic interview remains a “fleeting love story,” rarely followed by bitterness, and it can enrich art and contribute to the development of creativity.
