Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (13 November 1850 – 3 December 1894) was a Scottish novelist considered one of the greatest English writers of the late nineteenth century. He was a Romantic poet, travel writer, essayist, and author of many adventure novels beloved by readers of literature in most parts of the world.
