Description
Subul as-Salam, a commentary on Bulugh al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam, is a book authored by Muhammad ibn Ismail as-San’ani. It explains Bulugh al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam, a book by Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. This book is distinguished by several features, including its compilation of hadiths related to legal rulings. The author included the most authentic and strongest hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and condensed the longer ones in an excellent manner. He also meticulously clarified the degree of authenticity (sound, good, and weak) of the hadiths, while pointing out many of their defects. This book has earned the title “Dictionary of the Sunnah.” Ibn Hajar also authored numerous other works, including Fath al-Bari, a commentary on Sahih al-Bukhari.
