Larch Kepler is the pseudonym of Alexandra Coelho Anduril and Alexander Anduril, who have previously written novels independently. Their co-authored Jona Linna series has sold more than 12 million copies in 40 languages.
In February 2020, The Hypnotist was declared the best-selling novel of the past decade in Sweden and has been adapted into a Swedish film of the same name.
Alexandra was born in southern Sweden and moved to Stockholm to pursue her dream of becoming an actress before deciding to become a writer. Her first novel, Stjärneborg, won the Swedish Catapult Prize for Best First Novel in 2003.
Alexandra began his literary career at the age of 22 with the release of a romantic novel. He has since written numerous screenplays, radio scripts, novels, and plays. The couple chose the name Lars in honor of police detective Stig Larsson, who inspired them to write the detective novel. They currently live in Stockholm, Sweden.
