Description
One of the most prominent features of Sadegh Hedayat’s short stories is that they were written in a simple language without affectation or complexity. The author resorted to realism, and addressed suicide and madness, and criticized the prevailing superstitions and injustice imposed on society, and that most of his characters are common people. Due to the reflection of his personal struggle, most of his stories tell of his psychological crisis, but at the same time we can sense his sense of humor and his sarcastic tone in many of his stories.
