A Child Yearning to Leave

Poet Muhammad Ahmad Muwa’ed’s new poetry collection, “A Child Yearning to Leave,” was published in 2025 by Al-Ahliya Publishing House. It was edited by poet Jawad Al-Aqqad from Gaza, and the dedication reads: “To Gaza, before and after the Resurrection, and until my last breath.” The collection also includes a foreword by poet Sami Muhanna, and a review by Palestinian novelist and poet Anwar Al-Khatib titled “My Story with Muhammad Muwa’ed… The Adventurous Poet.” The 136-page book contains 35 poems in the modern poetic style.
