Description
An epic poem: a forest at the bend, a desert in the square, ice above the dome of Parliament, a cave in the house, a stone in the head, for the tranquility of bullets and the generals’ laughter, a horizon gnawed by rats, and the coldness of pale moons, a sea chewed by submarines, its blue majesty diminished by battleships, a river asking the floating corpse about its face, only to find itself lost, and an eagle pleading with its last morsel to fly with it before the zoo arrives.
