Description

Ibrahim embraced her with his eyes, his face beaming with joy. Every fiber of his being seemed to sing with delight. He wasn’t happy about the news itself, but rather about her return. He had spent all this time since her departure anxiously awaiting her, constantly thinking of her, his heart clenching and contracting as if chasing after her. He tried to convince himself that he had only been thinking of her to ensure the success of his plan, that his anxiety wasn’t for her, but for himself. He tried desperately, attempting to explain his feelings as being the same as when he sent his colleagues in the secret society to carry out their plans. He tried to direct his feelings in that direction, but he couldn’t. This was a new feeling, something entirely different.
