Description
“For the Sake of the Crown” is a dramatic poetic tragedy written by the author in 1895. The style is simple and enjoyable, the ideas flow smoothly and coherently, the events are clear and distinct, and the characters’ morals are explained by their words and actions, leaving no ambiguity or obscurity.
Mr. Mustafa Lutfi al-Manfaluti adapted this tragedy into Arabic, transforming its theme into a beautiful narrative. He presented it as a story whose style captivates hearts and whose events hold sway over minds. Although the novel is a concise summary, the author successfully captured the original spirit. The author’s portrayal is powerful.
