Description

Ghazi Al-Gosaibi’s words traverse the space between levity and gravity, tears and smiles—shifting from rhythmic chants and elegiac laments to joy punctuated by tears, and sighs laced with satirical wit. He moves through nostalgia, embodying a poetic spirit and emotions that overflow into words and phrases rich with meaning; at times, these flow in rhymed caravans, while at others, they break free, gliding through fluid, shifting meters. All of this unfolds to the cadence of melodies Al-Gosaibi sang after his “reading of London’s face.”
