Description
Paul Auster says his passion for film is equal to, and often precedes, his passion for writing. This passion encouraged him to begin writing screenplays in his youth. Augie Wren’s story is a tale of human relationships that make life in a big city more bearable. Auster adapted this short, true story into a film, adding elements he had read and other characters after a long struggle between the written word and the visual image.
