Words, in general, are the image of the world in the mind. Collective and individual consciousness shape the image of the world in the mind through a number of words that comprise language. Therefore, when we think, when we perceive, and even when we dream, we perform all these mental activities through language and words. Therefore, words are the keys to knowledge, the boundaries of meaning, and the existence of things in the human mind, and perhaps in the divine mind as well, according to the beautiful Quranic verse: “Say, ‘If the sea were ink for words, my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement.'”
