Wuthering Heights is a beautiful, isolated place in the English countryside. The first house is inhabited by the Earnshaw family, Mr. and Mrs. Earnshaw, and their two children, Catherine and Hindley. The second house is inhabited by the Linton family, Mr. and Mrs. Linton, and their two children, Edgar and Isabel. The story begins when Mr. Earnshaw travels to the city for work and finds a small, hungry, orphaned child on the streets. He takes him home to adopt him. When Mr. Earnshaw dies, everything in the house changes. These are wonderful events with no room for coincidence, and you’ll be eager to follow them.
