The Elephant’s Journey

The first step in the strange journey of the elephant, which we intend to recount, began within the walls of the Portuguese palace and headed towards Austria. This occurred almost at bedtime, despite the fact that this might contradict the opinion of those unaware of the importance of rooms in the smooth functioning of public administrations, whether sacred, secular, or irregularly shaped. It is worth noting that we have used the vague word “approximately” here, as this allows us to elegantly avoid delving into details of a somewhat rigid, and often comical, physical and physiological nature.
