Researcher and writer Dr. Ahmad Ziad Abu Ghneima announced the launch of his new literary project aimed at younger generations: a graphic comic about the life of the martyr Wasfi al-Tal, titled “The Lion of the Wilderness.”
This work employs a contemporary artistic and expressive style, aiming to present national figures in an interactive way that speaks to the minds and hearts of young people.
The Symbolism of the Den… Regarding the choice of title, Dr. Abu Ghneima explained that “The Lion of the Wilderness” reflects a profound linguistic and historical significance. In Arabic, “the wilderness” refers to a dense forest inhabited only by lions, likening the martyr Wasfi al-Tal to “a lion in his den,” the protector of Jordan, who feared no one in upholding the truth.
