Description
It’s illogical for women to always be the weaker party, appearing infallible. In his novel “I Forgot I Was a Woman,” Ihsan Abdel Quddous portrays a self-absorbed woman who exaggerates her own importance and refuses to acknowledge any mistakes, yet simultaneously finds herself losing those around her. Magda embodied this character in a 1994 film, co-starring Fouad El-Mohandes, Ghada Nafi, and Samir Sabry, and directed by Atef Salem.
