“Run…It’s a Bee!” is a children’s story by Robin Koontz. It tells the story of Victoria and Jasper who were enjoying the new sunflowers in their garden. When Jasper touched the pollen with his nose, a bee appeared, giving them a fright and a run for their lives. As they ran, they passed a baseball game and the school theater, where the players and actors joined them in running and shouting, “Run, it’s a bee!” Upon returning to the garden, the bee landed on Jasper’s nose, licked the pollen, and flew away, making them realize that the bee hadn’t intended to sting them, but was simply looking for pollen.
