Elena Ferrante is the pseudonym of an Italian novelist, born in Naples in 1943. Ferrante’s works, published in Italian, have been translated into several languages ​​and have enjoyed remarkable success. Her most famous work is “My Brilliant Friend” (L’amica Genial), also known as the Neapolitan Quartet, which was adapted into a television series by HBO.
Time magazine included Ferrante on its list of the most influential people of 2016.
