Hassan El Gendy (born March 26, 1989) is an Egyptian writer and novelist. He studied at Ain Shams University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Philosophical Studies, and graduated in 2010. He began writing novels during his university years, gaining recognition during this period with the publication of his first full-length novel.
He is one of the young writers who, in a very short time, managed to acquire a wide following among young readers and fans. His works and novels have garnered nearly one hundred thousand views both inside and outside Egypt, a significant number, especially his “Ibn Ishaq Manuscript Trilogy,” which established him as one of the most prominent authors in the horror genre.
His writing style was characterized by smoothness, flexibility, and a keen interest and focus on the elements of excitement and suspense, as well as a commitment to choosing a distinctive dramatic plot. It was also noted that he had developed his style recently, to the point that during one of the press interviews, many readers and followers asked him for the phone numbers of many of his novel characters, but he told them that they were just imaginary characters.
