Description

In this book (the fourth in Volume One – Imagined Israel), Fadhel al-Rubaie confronts what he calls “one of the greatest lies of contemporary history” regarding a Jewish revolt against the Romans in Palestine. According to al-Rubaie, there was never a Jewish revolt against the Romans in Palestine. Furthermore, they did not destroy the Temple in Jerusalem, as theological claims suggest, and there is no real evidence in the Torah or Roman records to support this claim. Contrary to all that has been written or accepted, al-Rubaie – based on evidence from Yemeni and Assyrian inscriptions – presents a new and compelling perspective: there was never a Jewish revolt in Palestine against the Romans at any point in history whatsoever. Never before in recorded history did a revolt against the Roman emperors occur in the ancient Palestinian city/Jewish temple called Jerusalem, where they were easily defeated, nor did they destroy the Temple of the Lord on Mount Zion during the rebellion. Thus, all the outlandish conclusions that prevail and dominate the historical narrative in scholarly and academic circles to this day regarding this alleged revolt have no scientific value. The true, unspoken history tells a different story. Bloody confrontations against the Roman invasion of Yemen took place and lasted for years, and Palestine had no connection to this event. It was the Jews of Yemen, led by Ilcharrahah Yahdub II, who confronted the invaders. This compelling narrative calmly and knowingly turns the tables.
