Description
The Babylonian captivity never took place in Palestine, nor did its land or history witness such a momentous event. Everything written about this event in foreign and Arabic historical works, as if it occurred on Palestinian soil and within its ancient history, is a political fabrication stemming from an Orientalist interpretation of the Torah. It reveals itself to be a deliberate falsification and manipulation of the true history of Palestine, as there is no evidence, however slight, or even the slightest hint, that it occurred there, or that the Jews were its sole victims. This is what the book raises and argues. But where did the Babylonian captivity take place? What is its true nature? Of course, we do not deny the occurrence of the event; rather, we deny its connection to Palestine. What can be asserted today, in light of the considerable archaeological and historical evidence I present, is that the Torah, upon which historians of the biblical school rely to confirm the occurrence of the captivity, makes absolutely no mention of where it took place. Furthermore, the Hebrew Torah makes no mention of Palestine or the Palestinians whatsoever, and any claim that it refers to Palestine and Arab Jerusalem is pure Orientalist fantasy.
