Description
This is the third book in the “Positions” series, a continuation of what Al-Jabri presented in the first two books.
Al-Jabri delves into his recollections, revisiting past events that constitute his political experience, which has become a kind of memoir interspersed with texts and dialogues conducted with him over the decades. These texts truly reflect the stages of development of Arab consciousness in general, from the late 1950s to the present day. In addition to adhering to a chronological order in his presentation of events, Al-Jabri also maintains a unified theme.
In this book, Al-Jabri addresses three events, divided into three sections. The first examines “The Alternation Project and the Slogan of the Democratic Nation-State.” The second focuses on “The Western Sahara Issue” through its internal and external dimensions. The third section addresses “The Crisis of Socialism in Developing Countries.”
