Description
This book proposes a method for reviewing the concepts and perceptions that constitute the core of our current thought, with the aim of reconstructing it in a way that allows it to engage with existing reality as it is, not as it is perceived or desired by any particular authority. Planning for the future is not based on what was, but on what is expected to be.
This book offers a perspective on how to deconstruct the ideological and sectarian aspects of contemporary Arab thought and reconstruct these issues in a way that transcends partisanship towards any particular current vying for dominance in the Arab intellectual arena. This, in turn, paves the way for a kind of consensus on the minimum necessary for uniting all forces to confront the crisis.
